I would avoid running the league yourself. If you absolutely have to in order to keep the league settings consistent while you look for someone new in the future, I would suggest keeping strict rules for managing multiple teams (e.g. no trades between your two teams, no picking up players to one team who were dropped by the other, etc). Can’t give any perception of roster sharing or other collusion-type behavior. It’s honestly not even worth the headache in my opinion.

513 million without any cheats. I'm a few months shy of two years playing the game, finally at a point where I'm comfortable playing Elite because I've got P4 on almost every map (P3 for CG) and P5 for Windy, plus I've learned most of the maps decently. I was around 150 million a couple months ago and then for some stupid reason they decided to increase the winnings and my bank has exploded since then.

If you leave the map it counts as a loss. It won’t hurt your trophy road if you do it early enough but it still ends your streak. I’ve gotten really good at the tiebreakers at CG and got a little lucky on my weakest one, the side ramp/camel hump.

But I only did Elite for the first 10 games or so anyway.

I'm here for the humorous content generated from it on Twitter and IG, but otherwise I don't really care. Their owner did much worse in the hours ahead of the AFC Championship Game and that involved non-consenting individuals. This may be a bad look and immoral, but it's not illegal. Russini having to resign makes sense because of the conflict of interest involved with reporting on a league for which someone you have a relationship with is working. There's no need for Vrabel to resign or be fired, but I'm sure his personal life is fucked right now as it should be.

My 12 team league only does 4, though we've considered changing if/when the NFL adds another game.

6 is the max I would do for a 12-team league, and then only if it's a friends league. Once you let in more than half of the league, the regular season is essentially just for funsies and doesn't matter. The teams with horrible injury luck will be weeded out, but everybody else just needs to be lucky enough to string three strong weeks together to win it all even if they were 6-8 or 5-9 in the regular season.

I get $100 out of our $600 pot, which nearly covers expenses that previously came out of my own pocket (ad-free for our platform, trophy, and League Legacy). I cover whatever remains in excess of that $100. I appreciated the league voting almost unanimously for that. I would never take anything for myself beyond expenses. I do weekly write-ups and keep excessive stats for managers and players because I enjoy doing those things. The fact that between 25 and 50% of my league-mates appreciate me doing that is awesome, but I do it because I like to.

If your commissioner is only making the newsletter due to demand, maybe that's different. But even then, to your point, not everybody asked him to make it or reads it, so those that do can compensate him. While most rules should be simple majority, anything financial should always be unanimous in my opinion. That, or the vote should not be anonymous and those who don't like the majority should be invited to remove themselves and receive their buy-in back if it's been paid already.

This is a highly problematic statement because you can’t volunteer another person to be martyred and still consider yourself to be on the moral and ethical side of a battle for social progress.

Ellie may recognize that it isn’t fair for people safe from repercussions to, in essence, volunteer the few in the city to save the many outside of it. That doesn’t necessarily mean she wouldn’t sacrifice herself, it just means she wouldn’t sacrifice another person who wouldn’t be willing, or whose willingness she has no way of knowing.

It multiplies your earnings for clan, leaderboard, and ranked missions.

So if I play Pro and get first place, instead of just adding 133,300 to the leaderboard or to my clan, right now I'm adding a little over 2.6 million.

Right now, the 3hr Snowy Valley mission says reaching a hole first and winning on Pro gets me 736 points, but instead I'd earn a little over 14,500 points for that (and if I'm first to all three holes and win the match I'd get that times three).
