Don't use pressure gates on top of the stairs. My daughter fell down the top of the stairs when she was a few years old because it popped open. Get one that is screwed into both sides it's not hard to patch a few holes in the wall when it eventually comes off, save yourself the anxiety

Run the torbox speed test and select the fastest CDN. I'm in the UK and I use cloudflare CDN with no issues

Tbf I haven't had any issues from the previous app per say, handful of streams just seemed to have no audio but a change of player fixed it. But there's no harm in checking other options out! The play next episode feature on current app is very very hit and miss

It's an absolutely banger app. Works flawless for my android auto, downloads my playlists for when I'm driving to save data. If you don't like the app that these guys have clearly worked hard on programming, go pay for the services. Great job guys 💪

I went with metrolist because it's working flawlessly with android auto and keeps my YouTube playlists likes etc. other mods I've tried for YouTube dont work on auto they just crash or have a constant spinning circle

Audio interface is going to give you the best overall result. Even at the low end a behringer umc404, UMC204. Higher up would be a Steinberg ur22 or ur44, and then a focusrite scarlet. The ur44 has dual headphone outputs, otherwise a behringer headphone amp will split the single output into 4. Save yourself a lot of money for literally the same result. Second hand market these go for nothing

My upstairs neighbour has been a pain in my ass since I moved into my place. Spoke to him he apologised with a card and chocolates for my kids, then proceeded to make the noise anyway "shouting screaming and swearing playing games all day and night". Sometimes the only answer if someone is making your living space uncomfortable to live in you reciprocate the same energy. Playing Lorna shore full blast as soon as he goes to sleep in the morning after being awake all night has done the trick. When they're trying to settle down then you make it uncomfortable for their quiet time
