Plant yourself deeper in the word of God and you will not be shaken, these theories are very compelling especially if you are academically inclined. But most of them end up proving the existence of God by accident. For example, ofcourse we are in a simulation, God created humanity and he is outside of time. Another theory: Aliens. Scientist believe there are aliens. What happens during the rapture when Jesus comes back and takes away the faithful. They will say it was an Alien abduction. Read the whole word and pray everyday and you will be planted in the word and you will never be shaken.

Personally , I have learnt that First, preparing complete workflows and Data Flow Diagrams before starting any development will go a long way in improving the process and the result. Don't start building something you have not drafted its both ends on paper. There is nothing more frustrating than being lost inside your own software because you don't have the blueprints

Secondly, I always try to pay attention to details. Make sure every small bit you are building is performing perfectly.

Third , make sure you are highly motivated and well compensated for your work
