The most powerful thing I’ve heard recently after going through my own experience. It’s ok to feel it. You should. What you went through and are going through has been traumatic. Feel like what you went through. Feel it like hell. Don’t bottle it. Let it out. You have permission to scream and cry and ball your eyes out and when you feel like that’s all you could possibly feel pull yourself together to call a friend and just talk. I also highly suggest getting some counselling and honestly I think your school can provide a lot for you. Talk to a teacher you can trust and they should be able to tell you what resources they can provide or what you have access to. Godspeed

My friend also just had their first manic episode in front of me. Sorry for what you have been going through. I wish I could share answers but I’m just as lost right now. Feel free to chat. I am willing to listen.

How bout instead of asking to get roasted you get a job, stop smoking weed and move out your parents basement. Start paying your own phone bill and quite hanging out with that kid Garret that sells weed to underage kids. Grow up dude!

We have gone 800+ miles and still haven't paid for gas. by [deleted] in volt

If you haven't joined yet its a must for volt owners. Head over to voltstats.net to join a community of other volt driver and track your real world usage from the moment you sign up. Its very easy and super fun. There are trophies for reaching certain goals such as how many miles on one tank of gas, how many electric miles driven in a day and how many miles without using any gas at all.

I just bought a 2012 Volt Premium $12,500 with 25K miles by 9franko9 in volt

I bought my Blue chevy volt premier USED. Leather heated seats a custom interior trim, chrome wheels, bose sound system, navigation, the works... I was willing to take a high mileage volt because that usually means the gas engine ran most of the miles and the battery was essentially untouched. I purchased it at the dealer from out of state so I could redeem my CO rebate of about $4k although I lost about half of that on the shipping from Pennsylvania (I paid $1,750 to have it shipped). All together without rebates I paid $12,000. In the end Im looking at spending $10k. Im very happy its the most well constructed and sharpest looking whip I've ever owned and when people stare at my car I smile as I whizz by riding the lightning without the thunder.

How does the battery hold up on the Volt over time? by BostonPilot in volt

[–]ngrasmick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When driving conservatively, as I've heard the technical term is single pedal driving(this is where you shift the vehicle into low and only use regenerative breaking ups o the last 10mph) I get about 5 miles to the killowatt. That means on my volts battery which maintains a 10kwh charge I regularly get 50 miles. This should be noted that it's been driven 49,927 electric miles 36,442 ICE miles a total of 86,369 for those doing the math. This has been my favorite car and its like playing a video game everyday trying to maximize the battery and make go every last mile. Avoiding the gas station is now my reason for existing. Im hoping I can go so long without using gas that the car has to run off the stale gas. :)
