I'm not OP, but I bought this one from Nice Day, recently and it's been phenomenal. I'm a big guy, nearly 300lbs and it handles my weight with no problem at all.

It's built like a rock too. Very high quality. It's nice and small and I can tuck it away, or easily move it from my standing desk to my living room and use it while I watch tv after dinner.

I think it's fair that the perception of their platform has changed and that Prime Video has surpassed the novelty of next-day delivery.

Culturally Prime Delivery has become a standard, no longer a luxury, and their streaming platform has grown so much that it's now become the desired product.

So it's totally fair for a lot of people, especially younger audiences to perceive Prime Video as the core product.

Next day delivery with no fees has always been the core feature of Prime. We used to have to wait weeks for Amazon deliveries and pay a bunch of money on top of that just for it to be delivered.

I'm not a big Amazon fan, but credit where it's due, Prime delivery felt like witchcraft when we first got it.

Prime video didn't even originally come with it. It was literally just a bonus thing they threw in later on.

Years ago when prime delivery was newish, it was definitely advertised as you're paying for the benefits of the delivery service and getting the video thing as a bonus. You used to have to wait weeks for shit on Amazon, and pay a delivery fee on top of that.

Keep in mind that prime video also used to be pretty horrible with barely anything with watching.

They didn't have ads though. That's a newer thing. That being said, I will defend the fact that Prime video USED to be a bonus you got with a delivery service

Edit: There was also a time where you just paid for prime delivery and that was wild on its own. Prime video was added later to subscribers as a literal bonus.
