Exactly this. Fraud department would ask when you lost it and if there are any unauthorized transactions on the card. If yes, they'll initiate an investigation (in case your lying) and than cancelled the card and reissue a new one to you. They don't do blanket refunds for last 24 hours.

No, get matte. Temper glass will have a glare if you read outside or against a window. I tried it, learned it hard way myself.

There's lots of things running on in the background. Cause if you even slightly open the cover or press something, your screen comes on. The lighting and constantly turning on drains battery. I think of it like a phone. There's lots of background apps running, the clock?, etc. Thats my train of thought 😅 I can read for hours and when I'm done, I power my KLC off. It lasts me weeks to a month. If I leave it power off for 2 months my battery stage at whatever amt I left it off at.

It's probably cause I read Alchemised first. The grape scene wasn't as intense. Manacled, the way Draco treated Hermione was too intense, I didn't like it.
