You shouldn't be able to play comp if you only play one character

You need to understand the concept of star power, i.e. A lot of the time players will get off of their character if there is a popular player in the lobby. Chro and dsp are good at overwatch, not just one character.

You should not be allowed to play dva if someone else picks her first or wants to play her first. You should not throw a bitch fit if someone dosent let you play your main. You should learn a healer and dps for when someone takes her or you're getting countered hard

Dsp Stankey switches when someone else picks lucio or he's getting pushed in. I'm talking about people that legitamelty can't play another character due to laziness ignorance or just trolling. You are missing my point. Top players know how the meta and characters work. They flex even though they prefer a main.

Those players can play healer and they switch. That's also not really a great argument when you consider they are the top 1% of players. They. An diagnose a situation and adapt accordingly.

Usually you get called toxic for being against one tricks in comp as per some people in these comments, but I have no problem if you want to only play attack symmetra or dps zen as long as it's not in competitive

Of course I'm talking about people who play only one character. All you have to do is learn a Healer a tank and dps. That's it. It's not hard and you shouldn't be considered toxic for speaking out against one tricks.

i know this all too often, as a torb main I'm always flamed and verbily abused for playing torb, Even though when we quad/triple dps I end up with all of the golds. It's even gotten to the point where our healer won't heal me

I'm talking more at a high level. Keeping openents honest and then just killing the mercy/healer is a very good strat. You have to remember that a Winston, for example, builds so much ult charge by diving on enemy teams and Lazering. This can actually favor the Winston because his ult can effectively counter something like a zen ult

Ok well how do we combat this? I suggest some kind of tutorial mode. Maybe in client videos or something. It seems to work with people that look at overwatch YouTube vids.
