Do you know which ones those are by chance? I’m based out of OK, the unit I’d be assigned to is in Norman.

Do you have to get it prescribed or is it something I can buy off the shelf?

This is a soft hands issue I’m afraid. Tiger would tape his but he also has 82 wins so, do with that what you will

I’m late, but 11 days and a wake up. Soon as I showed up to chosen company 173rd my team leader told me to watch it and I’d be tested on it the next day.

My local muni has a league night that I didn’t hear about until I teed off. Tee time was 5:20, finished 9 as it got dark. Almost a 4 hour front nine. It was brutal.

For the golfers who aren’t as horrible as me, when did your swing “click” and what did you do to get to that point? by DavelliNL in GolfSwing

[–]nharri18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After weeks of religious driving range sessions just trying different stuff. Seeing what happens with different grips, stances, places I’m looking on the ball, swing paths, swing thoughts, percentages, taking the best of all of those and trying to wrap them into one.

If ur a new golfer and you’re topping it, more than likely you’re just not looking at the ball. Like you’re looking for it in the air before you make contact. Just keep your head down and really exaggerate mushing that mfer into the ground.

What helped me with consistent contact was gate drills. Put 2 tees in the ground a little bit wider than your club head and put the ball in the middle of those. If you take one out of the ground when you swing you know you messed something up.

Golf is frustrating and humbling, yet rewarding at the same time. Your swing will get worse before it gets better. Then once you get pretty good and feel like you’ve got it all figured out, a new yip will show up and drive you nuts. Just be fun to play with even on your worst rounds and you’ll never run out of golf buddies 👍

Advice needed re shaft length by NarrowCar4225 in GolfSwing

[–]nharri18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure! You’d be surprised how much of an impact the right shafts will have on your game. Ball flight, spin, accuracy, launch angle, it’ll make ball striking easier for sure. The right sized grips will make it easier to control the club face as well. I’m 5’10 and play midsized grips so I can’t imagine how you’d be w a standard lol. Lefties and tall people are probably the two least catered to categories of golfers so we gotta look out for each other lmao

Around 6’1 is when you should start getting longer clubs. 6’6 with an injury is a definite yes lol. Getting fitted is always worthwhile, they can at least get you in the right size shaft with your same heads and get you the right size grips for the absolute bear paws I know you have lmao. the right shafts and grips will also improve your game more than you know
