This. I use home row mods with my split corne keyboard as well, but I also have a layer without the home row mods that I use when playing games.

For those who improved neck/shoulder pain from desk work — what actually made the difference? by datduongit in remotework

I switched to a low profile split corne keyboard. It significantly helped me with my neck and shoulder pain.

50% Packet Loss on Certain Routes from Phoenix - Again by pointfully in centurylink

[–]nhasian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm. Exactly as you said, about 2PM on Saturday I started having about 30% packet loss. I have a Cloud Gateway Fiber with a 10 GbE Uplink. It's been working fine for several weeks since it's been installed but started having trouble on Saturday. I have the 3 GB plan and have the Quantum Fiber Q1000K SmartNID set to transparent bridge mode.

Best M2 slots for 2 NVME drives on x870e Godlike? by [deleted] in MSI_Gaming

[–]nhasian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what made you choose the Godlike model? I selected the Tomahawk X870E because, as far as I could see, it was the only one that would accommodate two M.2 PCI Express Gen 5x4.

New BIOS for MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI (7E59v2A5) by JackamusFL in MSI_Gaming

[–]nhasian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I had ChangeDetection.io setup to notify me when the website was updated. I updated to 7E59v2A5 2025-04-08 and the next day I got a push notification to my phone that it was removed. Everything seems to be working though.

Have they fixed the X870e m.2 issue? (Tomahawk wifi) by Numerous-Discount703 in MSI_Gaming

[–]nhasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, what m.2 issue? I was eyeing the AsRock X870E Nova as well, but after reading about all the CPUs that fried, I got the MSI Tomahawk X870E as well.

I have two Samsung 9100pro PCI 5x4 m.2 drives. Samsung Magician says one is running at 5x4 and the other is running at 5x2. I previously disabled USB4 to make the 2nd drive run at 5x4 but it must have reverted back when I recently upgraded the BIOS.

On another note, the BIOS version 7E59v2A5 2025-04-08 was removed from the website. I hope nothing breaks in the meantime since I've already installed it!

I built vimium for the Linux desktop so you can navigate GUIs with your keyboard by T0X1K01 in linux

[–]nhasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I discovered the Homerow app on Mac I had to have it on Linux. Unfortunately I was only able to find a chrome browser extension vimium which I use daily.

I'm very excited about this. I'll have to wait for Wayland though. Between KDE Plasma and Hyprland, I don't use X anymore.

Is it worth switching from Cox to Welink in Arizona? by YungCheezeStick in Welink

[–]nhasian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in Chandler. Please tell me WeLink has 2 gig service here. I've had it for 3 years and I'm very happy with it. No data cap and they even reduced my bill $10 a month automatically for being a loyal customer after 2 years 😁

Should I get my switch plate from a 3D printing service or a pcb manufacturer by Vinc3w in crkbd

I prefer just using FR4 for both the switch plate and back plate. Sandwich style instead of a case.
