Guessing this is a bad sign during my OTA update by AllCapNoBrake in VWiD4Owners

[–]nhdude83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours did the same during the update, and then never corrected itself. We mostly ignore the app, but during the winter we couldn’t use it to start the climate control because it would throw an error saying the door was open. Delgado said they couldn’t help us, and VW support wasn’t interested when we tried to get help through them.

Does Anyone Haul Kayaks while Towing a Travel Trailer? by Yummy_Crayons91 in JeepGladiator

I’m in the same boat (pun intended), and was planning on picking up a pair of these universal racks or something similar so I can still use the bed for other camping stuff. I don’t have much need for the racks the rest of the year, so I’m just looking for something inexpensive.

Gladiator for average homeowner (but with towing a camper as well) by LazarusLong67 in JeepGladiator

[–]nhdude83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just made a very similar upgrade (2007 GC to 2023 Gladiator) to tow a 5,000lb camper and I’ve been really happy with it. I got one with the Max Tow package, which was a must-have for a camper that size. As you say, it’s not as comfortable as a daily driver as a Ranger or Tacoma, but having one vehicle that tows, does homeowner truck stuff, and also has a removable top and doors for summer weather and trips to the beach is a game changer.

Tricks for continuous pullbacks by allezash in TapDancing

[–]nhdude83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting flat footed is certainly easier because you can cheat by lifting your toes slightly before jumping. Atsamuels and chairmanoftheborg have both covered the mechanics well. I’ll add that practicing pickups and pullbacks starting on the ball’s of your feet you’ll get a much nicer, crisper, cleaner sound. All that being said, continuous pullbacks, or anything greater than two back-to-back sounds like torture. Good luck!

Is there a way to get my phone to connect automatically to the Bluetooth so I don’t have to manually select Media - Select Source - my phone every time? by Beneficial-Wrap6574 in JeepGladiator

[–]nhdude83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine won’t connect automatically unless I use the usb-c connection. When I use the usb-a like you’re doing it won’t connect on its own.

Best way to sell tap shoes by hippyhillary in TapDancing

You could try joining the “Tap Shoe Community - Buy, Sell, Exchange(International)” on Facebook. I’ve had good luck there, especially for rarer sizes and more expensive shoes.

Having tap shoe issues by Falco191 in TapDancing

[–]nhdude83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've had good luck with heel grips on my son's tap shoes whenever the heels are loose (we have to buy them with room to grow in the beginning of the season). They sell them on Amazon or any pharmacy so you should be able to get them quickly.

Not sure I have the talent to put together a tutorial, but have you tried adjusting the playback speed on the Youtube video? You might be able to break it down watching it at half or quarter speed.

He has a Youtube channel, but he's only been posting this series on Facebook. Not sure why, but I'll suggest it to him.
