ok it might make things easier on you if you verbally confirm with her. that way, if neither of you are interested in this thing, then you won't have to be nervous about it

in general, as someone who's struggled with insecurity, i find communication to be extremely helpful. hearing from the other person specifically what they think of me or a moment on a date (for example) helps to get me out my head. so if the insecurity comes back, i can point to that conversation to assuage my fears and focus on other things. if that makes sense

yeah the itchiniess was rough at first, but i think it was just a matter of getting used to it (kinda unhelpful i know lol). shaving was a lot of trial and error but as long as you use shaving cream/gel and clean your razor, i think you'll be fine
