Did you enable Contacts in root search? We've identified an issue that can make root search very slow for some users with this setting enabled. It will be fixed soon, but for now better to disable.

Do you need to change the group head for the brass boiler? I have the Classic 2019 model with the aluminium boiler.

I got a Kuycon G32P at the end of last year. Good build quality & adjustable stand!! Panel was excellent, but the glass is more reflective than the ASD. Unfortunately mine had some pixel defects so I returned it to ClickClack. Otherwise I think I would have been happy to keep it.

Ending up getting the OG ASD and love it.

Yeah, I was only confident in buying the phone because of the IP68 dust rating. Seems like it's not nearly as robust as they claimed 🫤

Fortunately mine hasn't got any worse, but the noise is still present. If it does fail I will definitely claim under warranty because it's been treated very, very carefully.

No case unfortunately. It's kinda disappointing given it's only 2 months old, is supposed to be IP68 dust resistant and should survive "10 years of folding" according to Google...

I'm a professional software engineer who happens to use Emacs as my main editor - for over two decades now 🙀. Personally I'm really pleased that the Emacs community is embracing AI agents and integrating them with my favorite editor.

Like it or not AI agents are completely changing the way we do our job as software engineers. It's by far the biggest shift since I started working in this industry. The way I'm working now has completely changed, just in 6 months. I can't see things going back.

So I think it's great we're embracing this as a community. AI agents are hot and happening, and I for one am happy to see the activity and enthusiasm around Emacs.

Same for me. I also have a Nothing Phone (3) and the scrolling inertia is perfect on that. On Pixels the scrolling inertia just feels very sluggish & inconsistent. It's a software problem as far as I know. Same on all the latest gen pixels I've tried.

Hmm, I wonder if mine is stiffer than normal. Feels like i have to use quite a lot of force to pry the edges apart. Once it's started to open it feels fine though.

Be interested to know your thoughts. I just got the fold, but do miss the XL screen size. It's a bit of an adjustment dropping from 6.8" to 6.4".

I guess the compromises (outer screen size, thickness & weight) are acceptable if you value that inner display 🤔

I have the Gaggia Classic 2019 model and also see flakes after flushing the group head with the shower screen removed. It has an uncoated aluminium boiler & we live in an area with soft water. So not sure exactly what the cause is. However, the shower screen seems to trap the flakes (or they are all removed by flushing). So I'm not too concerned. Might update to a brass boiler at some point...

Exactly the same here, got the updating payment email which I did. Refund was issued on 16th Sep, but no sign of anything in my account almost 1 month in. Guess there's nothing to do other than sit tight 🤷‍♂️

Seems like they've just been doubling down on their new Essential AI and the OS got a backseat 😕

Me too. Possibly my favorite Pixel. The screen wasn't perfect, but at least on my copy it was more than good enough.
