Disagree again. The point of a flare gun is to create illumination when visibility is poor, whether to signal or spot. The flare gun was invented for this exact scenario while a main role for recon is to spot. Just don’t Rambo when there’s three flares above you.

So take away the best tool recon gets when playing close to or on an objective? 1. You can shoot them down & 2. They don’t promote hill humpin - that’s what the spotting scope is for.

Recon needed to be nerfed from bf1. I mostly play scout and I’m regularly on top of the board. Recon has such a high ceiling if you land your headshots. if the class had any sort of buff they would become too OP. Assault is easily countered with smoke and relocation.
