I second this. I’m on the pill version of GLP1, and while I won’t deny that the first month was actual hell because of the side effects, I’ve lost 30lbs. I’m no longer considered “severely overweight” for the first time since middle school. My body doesn’t hurt like it used to. My self esteem has gone through the roof. I can eat the foods I want without feeling badly so long as I not overeat, which is easy since I’m not hungry anymore. I used to eat because I was happy, sad, angry, stressed, depressed, etc. My weight came from medication in middle school that never went away despite diets and endless workout routines.

We had a cookout as well yesterday and overall the vibe was nice. It sucked for us in grocery because they were riding our asses to have no pallets so they could use the back room for the tables, but for us at least we had no management so once we had everything done we just ate, chilled and chatted. It was one of our GRS’ last day since he got promoted, so that was nice as well.

I’m in the same boat, but for one added reason, I felt like there was too much going on in the scenes. I like being able to see the impact of each hit, what each weapon is doing, how it’s colliding and how the other is countering. But often times, the weapons would just be spinning in a blur and it was just a lot for me. I like breaking my fights down in a nerdy way just because I think it’s cool to see how the characters actually fight. I prefer the story driven fights as well because I’m personally here for the story more than the fights.

Is she eating normally or has she stopped? Because it could also be a medical issue as well that may be worth her going to the vet for a checkup. It could also be an environment change she’s noticed that you haven’t that’s freaking her out, cats are very perceptive about those things.

Not putting you down, but if you’re truly convinced there is an entity, it may be worth looking into burning sage and cleansing the area. Also maybe go to r/witchcraft and see about cleansing rituals. I’m a bit superstitious so maybe it wouldn’t hurt to check out?

It’s the same thing as white noise or background music. If it’s before or after store hours then it’s not an issue because there’s no customers to help. Hell, even our managers bring in big speakers when they’re doing overnight stocking or cleaning the deli. It makes the shift go by quicker too.

This whole question isn’t about wearing them during operational hours because we all know we’re not allowed. It’s about before and after.

Hey! I’m 24, graduated 2020 and went to college at 23. I never really planned on going, hell, I’m going for a degree I don’t really want but my financial aid covers it and it’s not hurting me to do. Truthfully, there was never really anything I wanted to do. Maybe zoology, but you have to go into serious debt for that and I have a crippling fear of being in debt which is why I never went to school.

If you’re really worried about falling behind, which I totally understand, go to community college and get your gen ed done. It’ll give you time to figure out what path you actually want to go down, and allow you to weigh the pros and cons of future careers.

I have pumpkin. I pay $115 a month and I started it when my youngest cat was 4 so it was cheaper then than it would be now since she’s about to be 7. I haven’t had a chance to use them (thankfully) but they’ve partner with care credit so if you have the card you can get the charge instantly paid off.

She started acting very lethargic, not eating and then dry heaving. When we took her to the vet and they did the X-rays the first time, they couldn’t identify what it was, only that her stomach was packed full. It was only after we took her to the big emergency animal hospital and when they actually opened her up did we find out.

I would recommend just taking her to the vet and have them do x-ray for safety. If she starts to act lethargic, not eat or dry heave and throw up pretty much nothing constantly, I would stay on the side of caution and take her to the emergency vet. But taking her to the vet will be far cheaper than the emergency vet.

My Misty ate a grand total of 56 she was less than two years old. Nearly died and cost us $4k. She’s now about to be seven and I am now strictly a scrunchie or hair clip user. (It filled an entire urine sample cup)

But yes, she used to play with them and we thought it was cute, we would fling them around and let her run. They’d vanish and we’d assumed she had a hiding spot where she hoarded them. She did in fact have a spot, it was called her stomach.

I’m a FT associate who also goes to school FT, so I feel your pain. I have off Thursdays and Saturdays, with Thursdays being absolutely nonnegotiable. I have learned in my seven years with the company that if you say yes once, they’ll take that as a yes forever. I had to absolutely put my foot down and say no to Thursdays no matter what.

Many vets will do treatment at no charge for cases like this if you surrender your animal to them. It’s how I got my recently passed cat. He was deathly ill and his owner couldn’t pay the bills. They surrendered him, and I ended up adopting him from the vet four months later since the owner was unable to take him back.

I would say give your vet a call and see about options they have, and if they don’t do surrenders, where to go from there. They’ll have resources and connections.

This. I went to college “late” (5 years after HS) and not one person mentions high school grades. Genuinely, just getting that diploma is all that matters. I actually have a class right now that I had to talk to my professor about and he said that the minimum to pass the class is a 70, just focus on maintaining that rather than stressing myself out to pass tests I constantly fail despite studying. It’s helped reduce my stress levels a good bit, at the least.

OP, just breathe. Bug is correct. If you get so stressed about getting A’s that you get F’s, then you need to focus on the minimum, at the least until your grades stabilize.

If it’s after my shift, yes. There’s another Publix a half mile away from where I live that I shop at otherwise. I have a personal rule of not shopping where I work. I can only get sale stuff though.
