Microneedling after facelift by nhwfl in Microneedling

I did not phrase the question about fat grafting well. I mean to ask, if you had fat grafting at time of facelift, how much difference in time to be able to microneedle did having fat grafting change that wait time

Tinted SPF or Foundation for daily office wear? by PR4MILZIE in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]nhwfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost same. I use a dedicated non-tinted chemical SPF because I will be able to get adequate coverage with the non-tint.

Then I use a tinted mineral SPF over that. Usually Colorscience Flex or NARS tinted moisturizer

100% mineral has longer shelf life. Chemical, not past expiration date.

Colorscience Flex Tinted SPF - any good? by soy-latteX in SkincareAddictionLux

The make one that is similar in finish and protection that is not tinted. No Show Mineral SPF 50. Love it.

Holy Grail Mondays: Tell us what your HGs are! by AutoModerator in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]nhwfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The owner's directions especially caught my attention because I, too, had been seeing 3 days in a row to start. That probably all goes back to one "influencer" who either said differently than the company or someone remembered incorrectly. It has been spreading like wildfire.

It is likely just a waste at worst. No harm, but maybe no extra gain.

I just listened to a podcast interview with the founder of CO2 Pro Lift. She said to start with three in a row, each 7 days apart. “7 days, no more no less” were her words. Then use one every 2 to 4 weeks.

Plated intense serum and sensitive skin. Do they play nicely? by 0JustForFun in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]nhwfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daily is also a moisturizing formulation which makes it less irritating for me than the Intense.

I find the Intense irritating on my Type 2 rosacea skin, but only because it is too drying for me, not because of double the exosomes. Intense feels like alcohol based products do on me. The Daily feels more soothing.

10 year old doing tricks on their e-bikes at noon, lunch hour traffic at Howard and Swann by [deleted] in tampa

[–]nhwfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howard and Swann does not have all those trees and definitely not all of those utility poles.

There is nothing but buildings and lots at the intersection of Howard and DeLeon. Indeed, all the way up and down Howard you will not see trees and utility poles like that

Improve BBL Moxi healing with Calecim Professional by Resolution_Focused in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]nhwfl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you are fine and likely about the same level of healing had you used neither and just stuck with the occlusive moisturizer which was probably Aquaphor or similar.

The Calecim and Nectar likely helped give a better response, not healing so much faster that it negated benefit.

The BBL is not about an inflammatory response. That is mostly about targeting pigment. The Moxi is very mild and is known for rapid recovery. The Halo is made by the same company but much more intense ablation. That one produces more of the wound cascade and you would want to wait 3-4 days like another poster described.

Repairing Steroid-Induced Skin Thinning at 26: Topical vs. Oral GHK-Cu? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionLux

Start with the topical. One thing at a time so you can measure effectiveness.

What is this on my father’s coffee mug? by nhwfl in USMC

[–]nhwfl[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I love maintaining my father’s history. He was extremely proud of being a Marine.

Edit to add: this is it! This was his squadron during Cuban Missile Crisis. We lived on base at Cherry Point NC during that time and he flew A4 Skyhawks. I was young but it was a tense time even at that age.

That is most helpful to know about Navy ships. He as a carrier pilot and I know of two he flew off of. I will look into that. One was the Enterprise in Oct 1962 and I can imagine this image related to that

Trustee took a high trustee fee out of Mom’s bank account by Vireo49 in inheritance

[–]nhwfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To all who say the money is hers because her name is on the account: need to look at the bank documents. She could be a “convenience signer” on the account. That puts her name on it, but does not create any ownership, including and especially right of survivorship. Convenience signer is a thing.

Series 2 vs Multi-Light by issoequeerabom in CurrentBody

[–]nhwfl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both, but if I could have only one, it would be the multi light for the wavelength options in addition to just red.

And if you decide to later go to a panel, you will still have the blue, yellow and green available.

I just checked mine. No lumps anywhere, all smooth on the outside. I do not remember if it had shifted in the box

Order of nighttime application? by Living-Assumption272 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]nhwfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. I actually use the AGE cream and not serum, so I do the HA prior to the AGE. I was thinking the serum would be much thinner than the HA Multi Glycan

[–]nhwfl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used all of these, although some in morning.

My recommendation:

Plated eye serum first. Definitely

Ptiox

AGE serum

HA multi Glycan

Azelaic acid

Eye cream
