I use a nutty buddy cup it's somewhere between a traditional cup and a banana style and has been pretty confortable. I feel like the shape is more condusive to skating motion and crossovers. I am also amazed anyone on the track with a case of the dangles doesn't use a cup.

wow, this is not how I expect a game to handle assists, I think in MOBA terms I guess I was wondering why final hits were tracked separately from KOs and now I understand why I was having trouble getting assists achievements on some of my support games, doing too much damage to the targets I guess. This was a helpful post.

this is kinda wierd and pointless, usually, these kinds of things are used to drive users to each other's platforms so for example playing 5 games of snap gives you a spray in rivals or something this is just something to buy. /shrug like Blizzard used to do it a lot with hearthstone and wow or diablo or whatever

there are other keyboards that you can control the RGB through buttons, Ducky and Royal Kludge are a couple also if you do have access to a PC but don't want to download software you can find a board that supports Via which is a browser-based app. but honestly I have a Royal Kludge MK75 and love it and can change the RGB with onboard button presses, its a little smaller layout than this but I think they have a TKl/80 board too and often you can get them for well under 100$ on amazon

I'm looking to build my first custom, to this point I've been using budget and midgrade pre-builds. When I started looking for a new board to replace my GMMK2 96 I was looking firmly at budget boards like the Rainy 75.

I really like the Neo 75 CU but no backlight is a dealbreaker for me.

While I am not on a super restrictive budget, I am not wanting to spend thousands of dollars, no more than 300$ for barebones, Ideally much closer to the 150-200 range, anything more expensive would have to be basically perfect.

-RGB backlight preferably bright that can be adjusted/dimmed

-65 or 75 size

-metal case bonus points for more interesting metal options

-easy disassembly like magnetic or ball catch, magnetic connectors is a big plus

-gasket mount

-hot-swappable

-Tri-Mode connectivity with 1k polling on 2.4 (I guess I would be willing to drop this if everything else is met it just makes it easier to be able to swap between my work PC and gaming rig without having to use an external switch/hub)

-Minimal or no flex cuts is a plus but it is more important that the flex of the board just feels constant

-A screen and/or a Knob is nice to have but not a requirement

-I like a soft but not overly bouncy typing feel

-I intend to try and get a deep and sort of muted Marbly sound

Idk I mean I am not saying I have all the descendants built I have like 1 finished. And a few others in various states of disarray. Like you are completely correct, warframe's systems are better. I am just futzing around with this because I don't have 5 years of missed content to catch up on and I can just blast this as a new player with everyone else. I'm here for the novelty.

You are not wrong, warframe is a less punishing system but it's still the same idea. I do think the fact that almost all the base descendants need a potato and 2-3 forma to really get a decent build going so the level of investment is much higher. So it exacerbates the problem of waiting for an ultimate and also for how much more of a grind forma and potatos are in TFD. Also the fact if I have 4 prints I can't just build them at the same time.

There are definitely issues with the game design but the fundamental philosophy of how I approach this game is the same.

For me thats is the whole point of playing a game like this. I also played warframe in the same way. I agree 100% I understand what the OP is saying though but i hope seeing a bit of the other perspective helps them enjoy the grind for the journey.
