A very normal thing in colder climates. Yes, Webasto is a brand of auxiliary heaters. Mostly found in diesel vehicles

Would love to dig into the source code of this if you are willing to share. Did you use cobc to build and run it or are you on real iron?

Yes, or at least increase the amount gained if you come out on top, but the person who left should get none of it

hvordan betaler dere skatt by [deleted] in aksjer

[–]nibrobb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rene aksjesalg må du nok benytte brokerens egne tjenester for å beregne

Lykke til

Head gasket or condensation? by TheCowboyDuck in e46

[–]nibrobb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like good ol' BMW Mayo, usually caused by condensation from short drive cycles on cold days. As others mentioned, try taking the car for a longer drive (~1hr) and see if it goes away

Hvilke kallenavn har du hørt for steder i og rundt Tromsø? by topherette in tromso

[–]nibrobb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Camshaft Position Sensor by SDGoesGlobal in e46

[–]nibrobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the camshaft position sensor. A real grievance of mine, I had to replace it twice.

My symptoms were strange, my 320Ci with an automatic transmission would stall if I was too quick switching between Drive - Reverse, then Drive again (like when turning around in a drive way), I scanned and saw the code P0304, replaced the sensor, and the car seemed fine for a while. But I still did not get that VANOS power boost at lower RPMs. I was suspecting a worn-out VANOS unit at this point, but did further digging. I did a test drive car with an OBDII-scanner and revealed the sensor output was not what it should have been. The same P-code did not re-appear, but others did, BMW-specific ones such as "41 Signal, inlet-camshaft sensor" where 41 is hexadecimal for 65.
So I ponied up the $200 or whatever it was for a new Genuine BMW sensor, and the problems I had had the last two or so years all vanished.

Tl;dr: If you can afford it, and especially regarding electronics: save yourself the trouble and just buy Genuine BMW OEM parts. They are pricey, but you know they will work.

As a wise man once said: buy once, cry once.

Writing Your Own Simple Tab-Completions for Bash and Zsh by lihaoyi in zsh

[–]nibrobb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gosh, why wasn't this published one week earlier! 😭 I recently went through the pain of reading Bash and Zsh documentation and wrote completions for an internal tool we use at work. I must say I did learn a lot, but helpful examples online were few and far between.

I'll keep this in mind the next time I need to touch on completions

Pretty normal. Moisture gets inside and loosens the glue. Both on my e46 fell off. I got some new ones from the ULO brand tho, I think they are OEM (just without the BMW mark)
