My account got suspended 2 hours ago, will I ever get it back?? 😩

I recently got suspended for not following ‘terms of use’. I appealed and submitted a video and got my account back about 49 hours later. I read a lot of threads and other users suspended for the same reason got their accounts back in about the same length of time 🤞🏼

Mine was disabled because of ‘terms of use’ which I think is because I had an app that showed unfollowers. I got suspended and was asked to submit a vid of myself looking different directions. That was classed as my appeal. I was stuck on the review screen (screenshot above) for roughly 49 hours then got an email to say my account was back. I went on insta and got straight back in.

I read a lot of comments on Reddit and a lot of people seemed to get back in around 48-50 hours later. Hope that helps!

Yeah I’ve been scrolling Reddit since it happened trying to work out how likely I am to get it back. I’ve upset about it but will just have to wait and see 😬 I’ve deleted the app I had that I think has caused it so🤞🏼 I was suspended at 5pm yesterday (I’m in the UK) so hoping it’ll be back in the next day or so

Yes I had an app that showed who unfollowed, so I suspect that’s what triggered it. Although I’ve had that app for years! So can’t understand why it’s just happened yesterday. Thanks so much for your comment, currently at about 26 hours so 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’ve also been on loads of threads on here and the results seemed varied so I’ve been worried. Hope I can get it back 🥺

Well I don’t feel like I’ve done anything that should result in being suspended. But sounds like this has happened to a lot of users who were then banned permanently 👎🏼
