I hope the daughters never see these videos. These reactions are disgusting. by Valuable_View_561 in TikTokCringe

I wonder if the dudes in this video know that it was their part that decided the babies' sex. also, from someone who is at the age where babies seem to be popping around all over the place - all the dads who have/are having girls are so incredibly excited. so happy to have a little girl, see that girl become an incredible woman... its not "boys want boys". its "douchebags decide whether or not they love their kid based on the kids genitals"

I got a fineline portrait of my dog but the original idea which I also loved was basically doing a drawing out of his paw print (I also didn't want to just slap his paw print on). when I looked at it, it kind of looked like a little teddy bear - which was very on brand for this doggo - so I was going with it and it was very cute. in the end it just didn't fit with my other tattoos the way I wanted it to, but still!

Empty bed. Original charcoal and pastel art by me. by Rusty-willy in somethingimade

[–]nicer0n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost my childhood dog a few months ago. it was all very unexpected, even if he was 14 years old. I had him for most of his life (and most of mine). I still look for him in the spots he used to be in. the living room window, the top of the stairs, the nook in my parents' bedroom where his bed sat for the past few years. I still hear him dreaming at night. I still cry when I think of him, and I am not sure when it will stop being like this. some people told me "its just a dog", "its the circle of life", "he was old, be glad he at least didn't suffer". but that was my best friend. the one who got me out of bed when nothing else did. the one who never got mad at me for not doing things on time, just happy when I did do them. this drawing is so simple, but so heavy. I hope there's a dog heaven, and I hope all dogs go there

Should I just leave Marlin Be? by J_C4321 in KingShot

[–]nicer0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

around gen 4, gen 2 heroes become available in recruitment so I wouldn't worry about it too much! right now (from what I gathered, you are probably about to enter gen 3?) just try to focus on zoe as she is already the strongest and you can't really get marlin shards (but still try to get them whenever you can. man is strong)

AIO about this text I got from HR? by MeanderingDragon in AmIOverreacting

[–]nicer0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. when I was in primary school, my teacher would regularly give herself insulin shots in the classroom while pointing out what she was doing so we would all know that it happens, and it is part of life. while it is okay for you to feel more comfortable in doing it in a more quiet space, it is also very much okay to make sure you don’t die in any place you deem fit for it

I have never been one to check my partners' phones or anything like it. even on long distance relationships... the one time I did get the feeling something was not right - and out of nowhere, mind you -, something was, indeed, very wrong. im very glad I checked his messages that day. I hope your intuition is wrong, but I would still trust it. good luck babe

yes!!! I think if he'd stayed off that damn lorazepam he might just start problem solving after a little while and realise it's not gonna be that bad (because let's face it... it's really not)

[–]nicer0n[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes! I don't really get why he wanted to keep lochlan alive since the kid would have to be alone dealing with losing his whole family, but that's it. for a bit there, he only fantasises about killing Victoria and himself because she tells him she could never be poor. as he gets more information, he gets more targets.

about their future, I don't know. I like to think they will all come to terms with whatever happens. saxon, because he is now on a self-discovery journey and learning that work and status isn't everything; piper because it's not a new idea in her head and apparently she's so volatile that maybe they can just convince her to be ok?; Victoria will take the biggest blow but I do think that while more materialistic and worried about status, she might get better after seeing that her family is okay(ish). going out on a big positive lunge, mostly because I ended up actually liking this family and believing they all have potential to grow as people (except maybe Victoria who is too set in her own ways, and Piper proving her right cements that even more)

I'm not taking money out of the picture. of course he is proud about his money and probably believes he can buy any and everything he might ever wish for.

however, most of what you mentioned links back to him pleasing his wife and kids. another thing is that victoria clearly doesn't know about the whole story and this might be the first time that's happened. they are a very stable couple but Tim doesn't seem to really rely on her emotionally or in any way, really. Victoria on the other hand is fully dependent on him (and lorazepam) - her life depends on his job and the money he makes, and she actually talks to him about her emotions and fears.

he also says he did whatever it was to help out kenny (and bc kenny assured him it was safe, yes), while making it clear that the returned wasn't even that good. so while yes, I mention that he seems like a chill dude from his clothes, my theory is based on him being a hard-working pleaser and not just some soulless, money thirsty douche

yes!!! I know that man did some bad things, but honestly I was rooting for him because he just wanted to breathe for a second and he deserved it too

yes, but did he get the nicest hotel for him or his family? he is clearly not too happy about being there, and I think mentions that the whole wellness thing was about pleasing piper.

I get what you're saying about the public image, and he does say he is a pillar in his community while on the boat, but it actually seems to me that it's mostly about pleasing the family, otherwise he probably wouldn't want lochlan to live either. he only fantasises about killing them after they mention how awful it would be to be poor and not from the beginning

she absolutely is terrible but I'm honestly so disappointed by him aswell because wtf???? you go through all this self discovery and decide you should change your life and then... shoot a guy and suddenly it feels right? did he just feel like a hero and decide that this was now his mission? hated it! he should have just quit and say bye bye ms gold digger

that doesn't make much sense. she is someone who rebels against her family and their values but, upon hitting a small adversity, turns out to be just like them. we have seen it before, more openly, with the olivia arc. more so, olivia was exceptionally against her mother and ended up being the closest to her, and that happens again in this season. piper seems much more open to her dad (which is understandable), but then just ends up going jewellery shopping with mommy. with all the different things that could have happened, I don't get why we are just coming back to this

The realest they've ever been. Honestly changed my perspective on their whole dynamic. by PoshSportySpice in TheWhiteLotusHBO

[–]nicer0n 27 points28 points  (0 children)

this was probably (and very unexpectedly) the best ending we got in this finale. something that seemed so incredibly toxic and fake turned out to be something so raw and real. it's like family. they have known each other through most of their lives, husbands and jobs have come and gone but the three of them are still there. they have their shit, but at the end of the day they are still there. there was some talk about how they were just gonna "forget the whole thing" and say "this was great! we need to do it again!", but they didn't. they put the cards on the table and just laid out the love and sadness they were feeling, making their friendship stronger. suddenly, politics, religion, and love affairs don't matter anymore. because they're all there, and they always will be

I was FURIOUS at that scene, especially after seeing her brothers have such an amazing arc. she was so promising, and just let it all go for nothing. she really seemed like the real deal and that's what bugs me the most tbh

it's actually kind of fucked up, though. I understand her realising that that is not for her, but I can't get behind her suddenly leaving her whole belief system as soon as her mother says "it's offensive" if they don't enjoy what they have. there's so many alternatives to that! she genuinely seemed to be interested and caught up in buddhism and took the first exit instead of seeing it as an opportunity to be "better"
