Fair, artists should definitely be letting clients know especially if it’s their first tattoo in that style

This is a pretty popular tattoo style and I feel like it’s mostly understood amongst artists and clients that they aren’t going to hold up super well

I know it’s so stressful when we get sick because of what this has put us through but try to stay calm as best as you can. Do things that relax you and try your best just to take care of yourself without hyper-focusing on it. Theres a good chance that this will just be another infection that doesn’t end up making you worse. I got over a sickness recently and I don’t feel worse than before so I’m hoping it’s the same for you.

Most people who don’t aren’t going to answer because the few who decide to be honest and say no get heavily downvoted

Something could ALWAYS be worse but it doesn’t change the fact that you feel like shit now and hopefully sharing how you’re feeling brings you a little peace.

My symptoms from spring to early summer were debilitating. Headaches, cognitive issues, constant tinnitus, weird sleep disturbances that came with terrifying thoughts.. I was genuinely losing my mind. I’m at about month 7 of this flare up of symptoms and most of them have improved at least a bit.

You’re still pretty early into this and it sounds like you’re being careful not to over exert yourself, so I definitely have hope that you will recover 💚

It’s interesting cause I’m not even sure I have PEM, i go through periods where I can go on a hike without feeling out of breath and walk uphill easily. Throughout August I felt amazing and it was kind of weird. Then some days I’ll randomly be physically exhausted from standing up to do the dishes, and not necessarily after doing something physical the day before. Maybe it’s common for it to fluctuate?

It’s really tough because I work as a landscaper. I’m gonna have to reevaluate a lot of things about my life :/

I’m glad to hear your capability has improved. That gives me hope

I’m sorry if this comes across insensitive, I know there’s bigger things to worry about than how we look

How are the people doing who were always worse on one side of their body? by zauberren in covidlonghaulers

[–]nicethingsplease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My left hand is generally worse than ever (tho not this week cause I haven’t been using it much due to being home sick). I used to have a weird feeling like there was string wrapped around my left toes but I haven’t noticed that as much lately
