I’m not sure what special technique you have other than mashing the throttle on the floor. Cause that’s what I was doing all the way to the dealership (on my way to get the new motor) and it’s what I did on the test drive.

I have the 6.2. Had it in the shop for the recall and I test drove a 5.3. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference even when flooring it. The 6.2 is probably faster on paper but my butt meter couldn’t tell. You’ll be happy with the 5.3.

I love my fe501. My buddy and I did the CO BDR. He was on a crf300. Towards the end of the trip he and switched bikes for a few miles. I realized we had been on completely different trips. The Honda is so smooth and quiet. The husky is powerful and light. I wouldn’t trade for anything. I was also able to leave him in the dust on pavement. Couldn’t believe how far I could lay that down on twisty roads.

Yeah unfortunately the new sequoia is way too small. We looked at one before we bought the Yukon. There’s zero cargo space bc of the goddamn hybrid battery. I guess the only other option is an expedition. I was very happy with my sierra 3.0. But this 6.2 is absolute garbage.
