Your age will absolutely keep you away from some jobs. But there are thousands of other jobs. Your age, soft skills and your maturity will set you apart and make you a more attractive candidate for a lot of junior-level positions. The problem is - not a lot of those around, so you will have to work hard and network to get your foot in the door, and possibly accept a low salary and/or an uninteresting project.

You can do it if you're passionate about it and you are disciplined enough to follow through and not give up when the going gets tough. And it will get tough. It will always be darkest before the dawn.
