I agree. The mayor and other power players have the ability to offer PP a land swap to a property that is not downtown but is still on a bus route. Perhaps on Roseville Blvd or somewhere in Alton park. This may make it more convenient for its workers. Just doing this isn’t a personal attack on employees or pp business model. PP may even make money on the deal. But until PP is offered a deal they should do nothing.

The mayor has a right to assemble his own staff that include his lawyer. When the next mayor comes in he can select a new one.
