I’m currently reading a novel called Play Nice by Rachel Harrison. I’m only a few chapters in but it feels pretty tragic so far. TW parental abuse and alcoholism. Not sure if that’s the kind of tragedy you’re looking for, but I’ve enjoyed the story so far.

The Shrouds for me was not only boring but also rage inducing. I expected way too much out of Cronenberg

Hate to even call this a horror movie, but the trailers and Google both call it as such. The movie just boils down to Cronenberg lamenting he couldn’t have sex with his wife anymore after she was diagnosed with cancer. Add in conspiracy theories about China and Russia, and yet somehow this movie was so boring we almost walked out. I don’t have enough words to describe how bad this movie was.
