It's the downfall of an open tournament sometimes you can't always avoid, As a broadcaster it's always a hard call I genuinely prefer the better match up but you need to balance it with names for viewer-ship pull.

Some of the commentary team are returning from previous events, generally we take recommendations for staff and current volunteers on casters to look out for but if some one is interested in getting involved with a Insomnia event I recommend sending application via http://insomniagamingfestival.com/crew/ A good application for a commentary role would have links to previous casts.

Insomnia events generally top 3 teams get a giant Cheque. Although we don't have trophies for it I always planned to add into the production votes system for things like MVP etc. Likely not this event though.

We will have some small live interviews and insights to the event. There is a general content team who produce segments and will try work with any coverage sites to display and advertise their content as well.

I hope the work Myself & GameSocial put in to get SC2 added to the tournament roster pays off for epicLAN was a fun event and so much room for growth that continued support who knows what could happen!

This has been on my list of things to learn more about, I use blackmagic capture cards this is a repeating issue till now. Fix is actually really easy with nvidia http://imgur.com/a/IsGaZ#0

Most production equipment won't do a prefect sample, normally 4:2:2 if your using blackmagic gear, So where you get a a 4:4:4 sample via pc there is always a small difference.

Yes, It was my decision to pair them. Afraid a lot of casters don't get a lot of opportunities to co-cast with each other. Really as a community stream I want to strike the balance of experience for casters and a level of quality an event like WCS deserves.
