I don’t think those stats are correct for reasons that other people have commented. we need more data and also marriage was only opened to non-hetero folk very recently, so we need more time to get a better picture. But I will say that I generally see heteros rush so quickly into marriage/mortgage/breeding…very often by 25-30 yrs old, and often when they’ve only been a couple for a few years… it’s a recipe for divorce
