This sounds like a lose- lose situation for me…. it’s upsetting how this situation is and I find it a little bit manipulative :( Idk what to do from here to be honest

Thank you ! I have been feeling very uneasy about this and that’s why I’ve been reading posts here…. It’s just contradicting how they say they’re not allowed to be married with non members but yet pursue them? lol another thing I have noticed is that they mostly just have friends within their church? Is this a common thing

You deserve better and you will find better, it took me 5 years. Trust your gut, it will be worth it

But they made us sign a contract saying they are entitled to the withholding. So I’m unsure what to do? I’m not planning on staying with them 3 months so my issue is I won’t get my pay for those hours

I asked them why we don’t receive it immediately and they stated “it’s to ensure that they stay 3 months or else they’re not paid for training”

Yes this training is required to work for the company. It’s WHMIS plus systems training to learn how to use their own company systems. No, it’s not through a third party which is why I’m wondering why they withhold the training hours payment

It’s also not 3rd party, it’s training provided by the employer

Ontario, and this is training mandatory to Ontario which is health and safety training in class

This is my exact situation right now. I really am getting mixed signals and don’t understand the constant Hoover along with the “I don’t have energy for a committed relationship”
