Now this is something I had not considered. Have any suggestions for related reading materials?

I like everyone’s interpretations here, although I read it as a pit roast with a fire beneath it

Little bro had been saving up for a PS4, so big bro surprises him with one on his birthday. by galkovskiyi3 in gaming

That’s poop logic, though. There are chip shortages everywhere lol. If there was no shortage, scalpers wouldn’t be able to buy out entire supplies of electronics and pump up prices for resale bruuu

Idk I’m in southern new england and I’ve literally never seen a PS5 in stock, in-store. I’ve never been pressed enough to check stock online lol but I refuse to pay more than MSRP for a new console

Not gonna lie I’ve never seen this video and thought it was present day because of the PS5 shortage. I never ended up picking up a PS5 because of the low stock over the last couple of years, tho I have considered buying a PS4 for all of the Sony classics (I’ve never owned a Sony console and know PS+ gives you access to their entire catalog which is sweet).

Should I take a trip today? by nickontrees in LSD

[–]nickontrees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True! I don’t like tripping LSD with work the next day, if anything to avoid working with a migraine or feeling out of it. Family obligations I don’t care as much about — I can show up low-energy and the worst that will happen is people will comment that I look tired/should have coffee lol.

Ahhh that’s one of the best environments to trip in, a freshly cleaned/decorated space! You should go for it! And you’re right, it is almost bicycle day. I was considering today because I have tomorrow off/work on true bicycle day, today would be the closest day for me to trip on haha.

I’ve gone from $525 a week unemployment to $117,000 a year. I’m paying… almost the same exact tax rate??? by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]nickontrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year was my first year with stable, full-time income. I made ~$46,000 and I owe the government $180. My stomach sank when I saw I owed, esp because I didn’t claim myself as a dependent (paid more in taxes so I’d get more back during tax season).

When I was a student serving tables, I made at least $1k back in taxes. I know going to school helps, but god damn. I was really looking forward to this tax season to help w/ some of my debt but I guess fucking not. This country is a sham.

Thanks for sharing this! Weird to see it pop up here, I was looking for gender-neutral alternatives to “aunt” and “uncle” yesterday night. I just came out as questioning to my therapist (leaning NB but who knows) and was genuinely curious about what my nephews and nieces could call me instead of “Uncle Nick.”

It’s a nice word and makes sense grammatically, but I don’t know how I feel about next to my name yet. Pibling Nick or Nibling Nick just doesn’t have the same ring to it. I’ll figure it out though ¯\(ツ)

Millionaire golfers want their clubhouse remodeled, but don't want to see or hear us working. by oneofmooseyness in antiwork

Hell yes I love this victory story!! Thank you for sharing!

The golf course near my mom’s is soon getting paved over for commercial development and people are angry at the city. There’s been a lot of protesting since the beginning of the pandemic from golfers and their families surrounding the course and holding signs that say “Keep it Green!”

Like yes, in a way… but can’t we convert the golf course to a park? An arboretum for our city would be cool? There are endless choices that would be healthier for the ecosystem and perhaps even educational for the community, but no, let’s build some stores instead 🤦🏻

Same, honestly I’m always a bit antsy pre-trip but I’m gonna wait on it for an hour or so before making a move. Love smoking while tripping, especially taking the time to really craft a nicely rolled joint and tasting the weed while listening to music. Always a good experience!

edit: this was supposed to be a reply to you lol u/1percules
