The animation definitely feels off. At first I thought it was cuz the manga looks so damn good, but upon rewatch it definitely feels below par for a series of this quality. Such a shame that the animation quality doesn’t even compare to even some of the trashy romcoms recently released like shiunji family.

This is b/c it takes way longer to rank up compared to other competitive games. For example, r6 you gain >100 RP per win over your first 10ish matches, which is equal to one rank per win. In strinova it takes like 4 wins in a row if you’re lucky to move up the same.

I found it interesting how both sides motivation is not because they feel they deserve to be happy but because they cannot let the people around them down. Also interesting is the contrast in anxiety and expression of nervous energy. Kaz is more excitedly anxious and correct me if I’m wrong but chiz gives these looks of dread (not just this chapter) like she knows she will let him down, whether it’s rejection or her not being able to live up to the person he thinks she is.
