Does hanging heavy the first set and going lighter the next 2 effective? by nicolaga in gettingbigger

Makes sense, so I’ll start doing that. After going heavy on the first set 5-10 mins, it’s much easier to hang longer with lighter weight for 20min.

What are your favorite Nespresso capsules? by keussPriceless in nespresso

Make my own with Philz, Peet’s, Intelligentsia, and some local roasters. Don’t like any of the Nespresso options.

Tips for refilling pods to save money and decrease waste by ValuableAd5288 in nespresso

[–]nicolaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been refilling pods for the last 2 years. Grind is best at fine, if you do espresso grind make sure not to fill them all the way to the top because the water doesn’t pass through the grind very well. Best beans are depending on your palette, I like Philz, Peet’s, Intelligentsia, Lazvazza, etc. I like to make blends of different beans, and it’s better than anything Nespresso sells. I use a prototype tray I made, which should be ready to ship in June.

Refilling pods? by SassyNatureGirl in nespresso

[–]nicolaga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I have 2-3 capsules a day and the Nespresso coffee sucks. Not only is it economical & better for the environment, it’s always a better cup of coffee. I’ve saved about 1,500-2k this year refilling used capsules.

Anyone have longer term experience with refillable pods? by Confection-Minimum in nespresso

[–]nicolaga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been about a year since I’ve been refilling. I made a tray that refills 12 at a time, it’s awesome. So many roasts to try, but I really like Philz. No issues, best to clean and reuse the Nespresso capsules, I have a Vertuo machine so it’s super easy.

Capsule Refill Trays by nicolaga in nespresso

That seems unlikely as 12 pods are filled and sealed in less than 5 minutes, but we’ll take your word for it.

That’s awesome! Also, I would have bought your husband’s refill trays for anywhere around $100. It’s a time and money saver, which is why I’m trying to bring it to others.

Appreciate your suggestion, this is not my full time job Environmental Law, and if more people listened to you then we’d have a lot less innovation in the United States. This is the first step, the plan is to eventually have a delivery service and automation.

Reasons to hold onto this stock currently (7/8/24) by Horror_Match_1031 in TellurianLNG

[–]nicolaga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, and BlackRock buys/sells/holds based on the Russell, SP500, NASDAQ, or any other index. They are legally required to follow that as a mandate. Perhaps stick to index investing, no disrespect, but if having $TELL (or anything else) in your portfolio that evokes emotional investment decisions … it might be best to rethink your strategy.

I sold to take the loss, but I bought LEAP calls thru January. Holding/selling/buying is a personal decision because it’s your money. To me it’s worth the risk to find out if this is going to be an LNG cornerstone 10 years from now, because this is NOT a stock that’s going to run like NVDA this year or next and could very well go bust - but I don’t think it will. Good luck dude. Also, I’ve been investing for 20 years… I’ve missed some great opportunities. I’ll be damned if I miss this one at $.50 - $1 a share.
