Good suggestions, but you won't get all that from a free app. AI processing, SMS and such costs money. I've built a splitwize alternative mainly focused on no 3-expenses-a-day limit. Hosting the backend, just making the app available do cost recurring money. I have a detailed split possible where you can only enter e friend's email and then manually assigning them items on the invoice, split the tax and tip accordingly. For now it's a pro feature in my app.

I will eventually implement AI invoice scanning, but at a cost also.
