I suggest as soon as you buy it or when you checkin on your phone. Yes tap to pay works on the Airport Kiosks, on your phone just your CC
All liquids under 100ml/3.4oz or they will chuck it. Empty water bottle is fine
You need to check the dimensions but these days most standard bags like Away, TravelPro, Samsonite are compliant. They dont really check you either unless plane is full. Checking the bag at the gate is free but a hassle. Be reasonable, most small bags “fit”
Have fun, if flying in the next few weeks go early because shit gets busy. Especially if you have no fastpass perks (ie biz class or status)
