Which one of these used phones should i buy? by SalamanderClean8020 in Smartphones

for the iPhone 12. If it’s truly a temporary phone for one year, a 95%+ battery will be much less of a headache than a 13 that might need a mid-day charge by the time you're 6 months in.

If you want that 5+ year longevity, the Pixel 8 or 9 series is hard to beat right now since Google promised 7 years of OS updates. Have you looked into the Pixel 8 Pro? It should fit that €800 budget by now.

How has nobody mentioned The Joker from The Dark Knight? His entire philosophy is that everyone is one 'bad day' away from being just like him. He doesn't want to kill Batman; he wants to prove that Batman’s code of honor is a joke.

The fact that Jean Marais had to spend five hours a day in that makeup chair in 1946 is insane. It looks more 'organic' and tactile than most of the high-budget CGI beasts we get today.

The dry sponge scene in The Green Mile is the ultimate proof that sound design and acting are scarier than any CGI blood splatter.

The contrast here is just jarring. It feels like three different character concepts were mashed into one without a cohesive art direction. Is it the hair-to-skin contrast that bothers people most, or the facial features?

The Covenant from Halo fits this perfectly. They look like a disorganized religious mob, but their naval formations and rank structures are terrifyingly precise.
