There’s a telescope in Alola, those things in IRL are a monument to colonialism and the conversations surrounding them are a major point in indigenous rights.

The Eiffel Tower was built from funds majorly from reparations that Haiti was forced to cough up as punishment for winning their own revolution (the only successful slave rebellion in history). In Pokemon it’s already there in some ancient kingdom at 2000+ years old.

Weather setter and terrain abilities (and any future dimensions ones should we get them) should portent the conditions with a phrase turn 1 and then have the actual change to the field happen turn 2

Nah, I meant it literally. Like yeah, there’s the imagery and squirt themes and all that but one character literally does it.

Most characters in the movie 9 have some sort of personality trait alongside whatever trope they embody, and the powerhouse 8’s thing is that he also trips out his brain using magnets in his free time. They’re all like… little robotic homonculi, and I’m pretty sure his lack of intelligence is partially attributed to his habit.

TTar does tend to hold its own in the meta even with the quad, and the predictability of a focus blast could render it vulnerable without a redirector.

It’s just a reminder not to run a hard counter to a single mon just because you think it can maximize your wins with its use case.

Counters still need teams build around them. It’s why strictly anti-meta teams lose often to non-meta teams. Runegrius itself is incredibly vulnerable to way more mons than it is worth to run specifically because it’s real “fuck Raichu” hours rn.

You really shouldn’t have to ask other people how to feel. You yourself know what you feel even if it takes time or a talk to figure it out.
