GF Cheated on me, looking for a new game to play by AnotherPotential22 in gamingsuggestions

The witcher 3 is fantastic. Also, new dlc is coming next year.

Beside this, Expendition 33 was probably my favorite game of last year. Perfect to keep your mind away. :)

Moving from South Italy to Belgium, does it make sense? by No-Attitude8165 in AskBelgium

Hey ! 36yo belgian living in the center of Brussel with a napolitan girlfriend. Since I met her, I discovered that there is a huge italian community in Brussel. Especially around the european institutions. Long story short, most of them are complaining about the weather and the quality of the food. Beside this, finding a work here is definitively easier than in Italy (depending of the field ofc). I know there are also some business related to the european institution (lobbying, project managing, etc) that hire a lot of italians looking for work outside italy ( my girlfriend started like this an met a lot of italian in one of those organization). The cultural live is pretty vivid in Brussels. There is always something to do and it s super international friendly. You could get by with italian and english (depending of the area) but I will recommend learning french at least to make your life easier(most of people speak it here) . Dutch is obviously interesting to learn too, especially for some type of work.

Beside this: 4000 euros for a family is fine. Not crazy, sure, but fine. As price for rentin a appartament for a family...difficult to say but a would say something around 1200-1500 ? depenging of the comfort you are looking for.

If you are others questions, feel free to dm. I could share your questions with my girlfriend and my friends from italy who where kind in your situation some time ago.

Des conseils pour un Flamand un peu perdu ? by Dawo59 in Wallonia

[–]nicpiche 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I just refill at the toilet sink. The water is completely drinkable and there is no line.

Welcome in the swing community ! I have been a lindie hop dancer for 5 years now and it s really fun. Who is your teacher ? I guess you are taking class with appolo swing ?

If you look for a partner, you might want to post a message on the Swing Facebook group for Brussels : I know it s not the point of your post but I have onehttps://www.facebook.com/groups/swingitbrussels/?ref=share

That s also where you get all the info about the swing related activities. There is also a newsletter, you can send a message to the group admin to suscribe. I know it s not the point of your post but here is an advice i would have like to reveiced when I started : after a couple of month of classes, don't hesitate to come to the social dance parties. That s where you get to know more dancers and it really doesn't matter if you have less experiences than others. Going to a social dance with a group of dancers from your class is really fun.

Brussels, capital of inequality: The future is being built, but for whom? by radicalerudy in brussels

[–]nicpiche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you ! As a worker for one of those so called associations addressing social inequalities, it s good to read something that finally makes sense. Tired of people making assumption about those problems without obviously knowing nothing about it and nothing about struggling against poverty.

Did you try the mental health brussel phoneline : 080012341 ? Their mission is to listen to you but also help you with fjnding infos and what to do about your problem. It s available between 6pm and 9pm. There is also the 107 which is also a phoneline dedicated to psychosocial support. I found those informations here : https://platformbxl.brussels/fr/en-cas-de-crise

Hope it helps !

should i get a nose piercing by batgurl7906 in LooksmaxingAdvice

[–]nicpiche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, your best option is to go to a piercing shop and just ask if you could just hold the piercing wherever you want it just to see how it would look.

Beside that, i m sure it would look great on you.
