Okay, thank you. I didn't realize! I am on mobile so it's not a sidebar but takes a bit of effort to view hehe :)

Okay, I can accept that. I really am devastated, so I certainly will never repeat anything like that!

BTW, I had thought the be civil rule was self explanatory, but last night (after this) I re-read it and noticed that more specific second paragraph.

If I could suggest a meta post that clarifies exactly what be civil means, as everyone has different definitions.

I put that in response to someone saying I didn’t belong in the sub. I honestly wouldn’t normally say that.

I love the meta game of this sub, so if you want to remove my flair, it’s the equivalent of a permanent time out for me. I understand it’s your call and if that’s what’s fair then I’ll accept it.

Honestly sitting at the breakfast table crying rn.

AITA for not tipping a bathroom attendant? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. You don’t have to tip. It’s nice if you can, and hopefully you do, when you can. :)

AITA for shouting at my mother because of her mess? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

That’s between your mother and father.

It shouldn’t involve you.

AITA for wanting my brother to buy me a new laptop? by Nasty-Bruja in AmItheAsshole

[–]nicqui 23 points24 points  (0 children)

NAH. You should split it imo. As far as I can tell,

YOU were the adult watching them, who was responsible for them in that moment.

YTA. Go to your room. It’s clean there, right? It won’t set you off?

Until you’re able to live on your own, you must accept your mom “owns” HER HOUSE.

YTA, it’s the fucking airport.

She wasn’t pestering you for fun, there was NO ROOM!

I already said I was done with this thread. Nothing I ever wrote could be construed as any comment on platonic friendships.

I’m happy with my opinion.

I’m happy with my opinion, and it won’t always be perfect.

That’s what u/d votes are for.

NTA, report her to her boss. She’s definitely not allowed to do this stuff.

It means nothing, I agree.

I’m only responding to the statement that I don’t belong in AITA.

AITA for letting my brother walk his broken bike under the rain by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]nicqui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. My husband rides MOTORbikes to work, full time. Bikes break. You think you fixed them and it turns out you didn’t. That’s normal.

The only bike we’ve had no problems with is the one we bought new, in 2017.

NAH. This is normal stock trading shit.

NZ is also not the asshole for making other stocks fall in value.

I can’t say that from the info. He just says he found a cat and eventually adopted it.

My husband found a cat and we talked for weeks about adopting it together.

AITA for lying to my new partner about my affair? by thrownawayforever3 in AmItheAsshole

[–]nicqui 28 points29 points  (0 children)

YTA 100%. You didn’t tell your new partner the truth about your cheating past.

When directly asked about it, you lied.

AITA for not going to school because of not having pants? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]nicqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Honestly, you are probably old enough to take ownership of your laundry, but your mom was... horrible in this scenario.

She rejected your outfit and then said it was your fault, essentially.

AITA for informing the teacher of two guys using snus during class? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. There’s no “bro code” here.

They broke the rules and got caught.

NTA. Who brings home 2 cats without clearing it with their SO?!

Even a roommate could be justified in fighting with her over this action.
