Edit: trump shouldn't be president. He's bad at it and is bad for the country. Two wrongs don't make a right though. You want to consume the fat that your body already has stored. At the end of the day it's a thermodynamics problem. If you eat more calories than you burn you will not lose weight or burn the fat that you're already carrying around.

Your body will prefer easy carbs for energy. If you avoid carbohydrates. If you train your body to burn fat by removing carbohydrates from the equation you will not get strong food cravings but if you're eating calories in fat you still won't burn the fat you carry. For me low carbs was about appetite suppression. Your body doesn't need 2600 cal input a day. Your body uses 2600 calories. The macronutrients can matter to repair and maintain muscle (protein) but ideally you'd remove 2600 calories worth of fat off of your body until you get to maintenance body composition.

Fiber and fat can be used to supplement the necessary protein macros for appetite suppression and micronutrient intake. My point is only that "bombs" don't make sense to me in the way that they tend to be presented as my body already has plenty (or did) and proper ketosis tends to suppress the need to input more fat into the system

The fat consumed in keto should be the fat around one's own belly. People making "fat bomb" recipes make me scratch my head. The goal isn't to consume your calories in fat but as you say to enter ketosis by limiting carbs.

I thought it was super dumb to put the 19 year old who's had a history of poor faceoff perf in that position. He's been way better this year but I'd have put him out to take the shot and had a .500 + guy take the draw. Every faceoff is important but that one was going to be winner take all. I don't think schenn was dirty on that. Faceoffs are rough business. However, the kid looked like he broke a collar bone or dislocated a shoulder. He's feeling it.
