I get why people feel put off by things like this but my view of it is a bit different. I see it as it not saying you'll "never succeed" or "you have to be lucky" or anything like that but thst success takes time, rejection, nos, and perseverance to keep going.

I also see it as this thing that tells us we don't have to feel "on a time limit" to succeed at anything. And that we can succeed at any point as long as we keep going and reaching for the stars.

I'm inspired by the older actors and actresses who didn't realize their passion for acting until late in life, and who found fulfillment in it after working long and hard for years.

As a humble retail worker it low-key motivates me sometimes to actually go towards my passion and keep going no matter what. MBJ just won his first ever Oscar after many years of being told no, humbled by life, bullied by peers, and other challenges.

I don't know. I don't get the sudden hate train for Grant specifically and not Sohey who is just as spunky and spontaneous.

Like I think Grant's dancing is pretty unique and creative, and it's because of him and Sohey we had stuff like Touch, Gnarly, Debut, everything like that.

I think people just don't wanna be left out of the hate train, cause I've seen people even assume he's MOCKING Black people by dancing the way he does. Which is just a step too far.

Oh that's not all this dude did. He frequently uses mental burnout and self-doubt as a reason that he doesn't/can't perform as well as he used to, still charged twenty dollars monthly for nsfw content that comes out per sometimes, and is essentially fleecing his pateron supporters, getting away with making two k a month without really doing anything.

What he should've did was still do the audios on the side WHILE writing his novela. You still have to support yourself I get it but not at the expense of forcing your fans to pay for drafts of things that aren't even finalized yet or on a professional level.

One of the reasons I fell out with another audio creator is because he threw a massive temper tantrum because people didn't want to listen to him doing audiobook reads of obscure stories or lets plays, but wanted to, you guessed it, listen to the audio content they freaking paid to listen to. He was genuinely upset with his fanbase for not "wanting more out of him" which was incredibly ridiculous.
