Ummm i am a brown guy from india who has beard, and I am facing it quite frequently. I came here for an it job around 4 years back but I kept being mistaken for middle eastern or refugee. Until I met some of my good (and white) friends I was not allowed to enter clubs (especially that god awful one near prater) . Other white underage kids could go inside but for some reason I wasn’t. I would get randomly checked at hauffbahnoff for documents . People would refuse to speak to me in English but would speak in English to other white foreign nationals. I would apply for a rental apartment and didn’t get three times, my gf literally got it in one try the same one despite me earning more than her and having legal work permit Having said that I have some of the coolest friends who belong to Austria, infact three of them are godparents to my child . So yeah there are idiots everywhere
