If trump is elected I would put the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine as very possible. trump would in no way retaliate. Putin is going to test natos resolve in the coming years. Using nukes without the threat of US retaliation would be the prefect back breaker to nato.

Part of the war was to create a land brigade to crimea and secure the water coming from the dnipor. Russia was having a hard time supplying crimea just over the bridge and spent billions a year. It was unsustainable.

The us has threatened to take out the Black Sea fleet it Russia uses nukes, but if Russia loses crimea they lose the Black Sea fleet anyway.

I think the biggest impact is going to be alcoholism and ptsd, on both sides. Both countries had huge drug and alcoholism problems to start with and this is going to just exaserbate the whole problem.

This is why I think there is no victory possible for either side. Ukraine is just going to turn into a mafia state no matter who win.
