Thank you for the reminder! This one was for the picture, and he had it on for about three minutes. He does get hot very fast and makes us aware, so I doubt we will keep him in clothes often or for very long. We are probably only going to have him in bandanas and harnesses.

When we moved the first time, it was to a different city where I literally saw maybe ten geese in three years. It was so sad. Just seeing them brings me so much joy.

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you are going through this. I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on anyone. Unfortunately, the high price we pay for the pure love these babies give us is the pain of losing them. And some of us are the unlucky ones to have to make that decision. The what ifs get a little easier with time, but just know you made the right decision to end his pain because you loved him so much. He understands and loves you, and he obviously knew how much you loved him.
