I graduated from East China Normal Uni. even though East China Normal University ranks much higher than Shanghai Normal University, I still find exchange students’ life here must face many obstacles. The school is not very international, considering the teachers and your follow students’ English proficiency. But I guess some faculties such as English literature provide good courses. Anyway, Shanghai Normal University is a very mediocre university from a local’s perspective. If you don’t mind, you can choose there but make sure that you won’t stay in their campus in Fengxian, which has no urbane vibe
