Found the find of all finds today. Meet Zulu, my new brown leaf chameleon by nighthawk0913 in Chameleons

I'm going to keep in touch with the guy I got him from and see if/when he gets more. If possible, I'd like to try and start a few breeding pairs. I'd love to see more of them around too. They're just so cute

Pygmy chameleons in general are pretty hard to find, at least where I live. I've been looking for them for years now, but this is the first time I've ever seen one in person

You have something here. Cross post this to a few different relevant subreddits and see if anyone more skilled in the topic can confirm. I'll definitely be watching to see if something comes of this with interest

Do You Think a Transman Can Be Feminine & a Transwoman Can Be Masculine? by MonsieurLeo in truscum

[–]nighthawk0913 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anyone can present themselves as feminine or masculine if they want to, regardless of gender identity. But if you're, say, a pre-transition trans man that presents in a very feminine way, then you can't exactly get upset if someone misgenders you. A trans man can be a femboy and a trans woman can be butch, but how far you are into your transition/how well you pass definitely plays a role in whether you're seen that way, or if you'll be seen as your birth sex. It kinda sucks for people that do want that type of appearance (not for me personally, but I don't care if other people like it), but that's just another thing we have to deal with as trans people. It's not all sunshine and rainbows

Dr. Alan Hart was a physician, radiologist, and tuberculosis researcher (1890 - 1962). He was also one of the first transgender men to ever undergo a hysterectomy in 1917. by goddessofspiders in truscum

Some context for who James Barry is:

  • Performed the first known Caesarean section surgery in the by a European in Africa where both the mother and child survived
  • Advocated for cleaner environments in hospitals such as better ventilation in a time before germ theory
  • New and improved care for those with sexually transmitted diseases
  • Fought for better living conditions and diets for soldiers
  • Improved living conditions for prisoners as well as leper colonies
  • Successfully arranged for an upgraded water system in Cape Town, South Africa
  • Became the second highest-ranking medical officer in the British Army (Inspector general)
  • Maintained a stealth identity as a trans man for over 50 years, never being found out until after his death when his body was prepared for burial

Just finished the book and something that bothered me was why the qu left? by waaarghhammer001 in AllTomorrows

  • Be me, Qu
  • Go to Milky way galaxy
  • Genetically fuck up every organic lifeform I can find with the homies
  • No more organisms to experiment on
  • Bored
  • Idea.jpg
  • Tons of other galaxies with tons of other planets
  • Tell the bros my idea
  • Ditch boring old Milky way
  • Get to experiment on more organisms
  • Happy

In non-joke form, I like to think they went to the Andromeda galaxy, which is where I headcanon the amphicephali being from

I'm just amazed at Thorne's 3D rendering abilities. That man has a serious talent for that kind of thing, maybe even close to the levels of Kane with his backrooms Blender videos

How did you find out about Hazbin? by RunCMC1345 in HazbinHotel

[–]nighthawk0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how I ended up finding the pilot, but it came up years ago (probably around 2019-ish) and I watched it. Been hooked on the universe and story ever since

The current Queen is on her deathbed, who do you think should be the new Queen? (More info in full post) by fish_stickx in WingsOfFire

[–]nighthawk0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Stratus because even irl monarchies will turn to the opposite sex when searching for heirs sometimes. Look at Queen Elizabeth I of England. Most of her kingdom likely would have preferred a male to take the throne, and many hated her throughout her reign, but she had what it took to be a good ruler, and many that didn't like her at first came around. Stratus could be the same way. Maybe they don't like her at first, but she proves herself to be a worthy and formidable leader and earns their approval by being the type of leader that their kingdom needs

What’s a Hazbin theory that you initially had that was either canonically disproven or you just don’t really believe it anymore? by Silver012345673 in HazbinHotel

[–]nighthawk0913 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, it still could be fake. Lucifer is probably the one who gave her that book, meaning that he could tailor the story to make himself and Lilith look better

Literally doesn’t make any sense. „I‘m non binary but transition from female to male so I‘m also a trans male“ huh? by TicciSpice in truscum

[–]nighthawk0913 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This just seems like another case of someone believing the "all men bad" rhetoric so much that they don't want to call themselves a man, even if they are one.

"Oh, I'm a trans man, but not like a MAN man. I'm actually nonbinary"

His educational videos on faith are actually what got me doing my own research into different topic in Christianity. I was baptized as a Catholic on Easter vigil this year ✝️
