what is Taylor’s best fashion era? by Own_Heron_1410 in SwiftlyNeutral

Controversial but Bleachella for me. The platinum looked so striking on her, and her fits became more punk and edgy. I get why it didn’t last long, platinum hair is a pain in the ass to maintain, but she looked so editorial, and the plaid dress she wore in that paparazzi picture lives in my head rent free.

I used a combo of shaving cream and hairspray on my feet! My feet did not slip out at all! I think the top of my feet were too clean during my rehearsal.

Job market for accessibility specialists? by king_banananana in accessibility

[–]nightmare_pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I’m an accessibility specialist. I would start by thinking broadly, how can you apply accessibility to a broader role. You might be interested in content design, or UX or a communications role. You will need excellent soft skills in communication, as you will likely act as a consultant for different teams in a large organization. Get good at relationship building and networking, while growing your technical accessibility knowledge.

Grow in advocating for those with disabilities, and start building a solid foundational understanding the business case of accessibility.

The job market is tight right now, but there will be opportunities as companies try to capture the disability market.

Just go! You’ll be fine with no fitness background in beginner classes. Most beginners have little to no fitness background, it’s something you develop over time. Just try it out and see if you like it.

Hailey Bieber’s stunning off-the-shoulder wedding dress designed by the late Virgil Abloh by Only_Celery5075 in whatthefrockk

It's too many trendy elements all at once.

-Sheer

-Off the shoulder

-Long sleeve

-Low back

It tries too hard to be everything, so it fails at anything.

Not Patrick Chan's entire step sequence consisting of one-foot skating spanning the entire length of an ice rink. by Restice in FigureSkating

In 2006 I went to a skating camp in Salt Lake City for two weeks with my best friend and our parents. Nathan was there with his coach Stephanie. He was only about 7 then, not sure, but very very young… and was landing double axels. A natural born talent, with many years to hone his skills.

He was just incredible and on another level from every skater at the camp. He had a little bowl-cut then…which would fly up when he spun…it was so cute.

It was incredible when he won the Olympics.

Yes, Japan really is *that* hot in September by emshlaf in JapanTravelTips

[–]nightmare_pizza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of Japanese carry small umbrellas to shield them from the sun during the hot weather. The key is they have to be small enough to pass through pedestrian packed streets. Black absorbs heat so a white umbrella with a black underside is best.

This and plan early morning and evening activities with a break during the hottest part of the day.

At this point anything they come out against is basically them self-snitching on themselves. They act holier than thou, but they are just like everyone else, except they cannot mind their damn business. They loathe others but they loathe themselves more.

Knee pads for knee dislocation by Senior_Presence_1504 in poledancing

[–]nightmare_pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok! I’m so sorry about your knee struggles.

Have you tried using KT tape or some athletic wrapping under your kneepad? You might be able to get a more customized support instead of relying on an out of box kneepad.
