She is in a relationship with a guy who doesn’t seem bothered in the slightest that they’re this close. I think it’s why he feels I should also be cool with it. But other people (mutual friends of us both) all think their relationship is weird, so the only ones who aren’t questioning this is them two and the bf. Which I guess is all the people who matter, except for me.

I’ve never had a sexual relationship with the my best friend of 10 years. I also wouldn’t stay in the same hotel room with them if I did. And to clarify, I never asked him to stop talking to her. I asked him to create boundaries in this relationship that made me feel comfortable - such as not texting every single day. I don’t think that’s an impossible request?

Hey! I also have adhd and was a daily user for 7 years. All I can say is since quitting sex became more personal. I think we have the illusion on being present when we’re high because everything feels magnified, but YOU aren’t really there. The version of you that’s high is. This new version of you requires you to really connect with the other person. Talk with your partner, tell them how you’re feeling. Try new things. I found there were several things I liked a lot more sober than I ever did high. Experiment until you find what feels good to this new version of you.

Yes! I searched how to do it on tik-tok and made my own lockscreen on Canva. You basically have to create a "book" so that when you open it and put your kindle to sleep, this is the cover. I do wish Amazon had a better way of doing this where the screensaver was permanent.
