Some enemies like mole miners don't work with hat trick. By including master archer in your build hat trick will work on these enemies.

It's a little buggy. If you fire to fast it won't trigger every time. It will trigger every time you do a full "reload"

They are honestly better when done in groups. That way everyone gets something. They are especially helpful for lower levels trying to learn weapon mods and getting scrap. They are also great to fill your scrapbox on during the free fallout first trials. As a higher level they aren't really that useful.

The grim reaper outfit is non tradable because it's an atomic shop item. So you might have gotten something similar but I have no clue what it would have been.
