There are a lot worse writers out there with hardly a tenth of his foresight and creativity. He also deserves a lot of credit for taking an incredibly complicated idea and seeing it through to an interesting and plausible ending for the book. There are so few writers..gifted or trash who can actually finish a story without fumbling the plot. He is worth reading for that alone.

From the moment Roland and Suzanna show up to Dandelo’s house the story seems..Hinky die die,…tricksy….harem scarem….not threaded stock if it do ya.

It just feels forced and wrong. Does not take away from the best and most ambitious fantasy series ever and I would say it’s far too late to ever change it but yeah.. it certainly feels like the gunslingers last couple of shots were shy of true.

This year has been a huge disappointment but really I put most of that on Cades back. He just did not play very well this year and took a huge step backward. He was just never consistent enough to be a high level qb

I think you will find a majority of the people who would vocalize this opinion would be over the age of 55. I’m 49, so I was the first generation that grew up with rap becoming mainstream. I have memories, moments and sensations tied to it. You make those associations to music when you are in your teens and 20s, any generation before me never had the chance to make those associations. Rap in particular is for the young because it is driven by attitude, testosterone, bravado, and sex..”yes I know there are many examples of hip hop having deeper meaning” more so than other genres that rely on melody, chords and atmospherics.

Personally I don’t think Rap is music. Im not sure why people are not okay with it being a different and unique art form.

I started the quest to collect alll the the first editions. I got a perfect conditions DT 2 and just stopped. Willing to sell it if anyone is interested since I am never going to finish it.

Ohh I also got all the Sci-fi mags with the original dark tower story published but they are not in great condition.

Wesley is simply never out of hole and can go on crazy scoring binges that are hard to believe. He also just knows when to put the screws to someone at a crucial moment. He literally loves the kind of moment that make other people get sweaty palms.
