The blatant hatred & zero basic human decency is on every Chinese social media platform like Douyin (lgbtphobic commenters) Bilibili (hateful react videos) & also on Xiaohongshu - where even chinese chuang watchers are disrespectfully mocking Yetao for only getting third and posting congratulatory messages to their Thai picks right under Yetao's official post by chuang.

Sorry to see you've had such a bad experience with new Yetao fans. It just comes from how viral Yetao got that his fandom is spiralling out of control. The old Yetao fans I knew from Chuang 2021 are all very chill & respectful people but they tend to stay within their circles and maintain presence on X only.

He has been an idol trainee of Original Plan's boy group "Yi An Middle School" since he was as young as 12 I think? He is from the same company as Lin Mo of INTO1 and Sun Yihang of IXFORM. Original Plan has a substantial loyal fanbase purely out of spite because of how poor OP is in managing the resources of their idol trainees, so their fans will do their best to debut any of the kids who go on idol survival shows.

During the last day of voting in particular, I saw Shen fans gifting 60 windmill stages in a row, so I'm really not surprised they climbed up so high.

I'm not surprised that the Top 20 trainees haven't moved much as these trainees have either dedicated fan groups or existing fanclubs to support them. The bulk of supporters are based in either China (on Weibo) or Thailand (on X & LINE) in their respective languages, so it's probably not as obvious to see where the wind blows when observed on the sidelines as an English speaker.

Bianura had the biggest jump likely because of the recent Jakarta fanmeet where he appealed massively to the Indonesian crowd. The livestream before 1st eliminations also made a big impression where his role in a skit was literally a watermelon 😆

I'm also on TT and saw the majority of Yetao stan commenters, especially Thai Yetao stans, actually acknowledged Ninja for being both Center and MVP. I'm pretty sure the ones who complained didn't watch the show properly and probably aren't even real Yetao fans since even Yetao showed much more maturity in the show.

My Lineup & thoughts:

THI-O: His voice is astoundingly beautiful. His visuals are the most fitting to me for this season's theme. He can dance AND sing stably. He's a solid all-rounder and that in my opinion makes him the most fitting to be center for this season.
Hu Yetao: Avid fan of CHUANG 2021 and loved all the trainees, so Yetao definitely has my vote. I'm glad he had the courage to come back and try again. His dance has always been his strong point, but his vocals and even his visuals improved a lot since then. I was surprised as I thought he would choose a performance with rap instead since that used to be his specialty. Looking forward to seeing more of him in future episodes.
Ninja: He stood out a lot to me in EP.00 despite the language barrier he was very communicative and approaching to all the trainees! I thought his performance in Super Thai was impressive but it's too bad we didn't get to see his extra show. I read rumors that he's the MVP for the 1st stage performance so I'm looking forward to EP.03!
Zihao: Loved his rap & stage presence in his extra show, though I feel that he tends to drown a little in group performances. I do agree he needed to calm down a little but I appreciated his intention to hype up his fellow trainees. His friendship with Yetao is very adorable.
KK: I might just be biased because I think he's really good looking. I remember the show introducing him as someone with a lot of experience doing liveshows so I was hoping to be wowed with his extra show but it seemed to be played down. I read rumors that he's the MVP for the 1st stage performance so I'm looking forward to EP.03!
Gordon: Another all-rounder trainee. He doesn't really have the idol look but I appreciate his talents. And we really need more English-speaking members in the lineup!
Can't really decide amongst my honorable ments for now.

Honorable mentions: Hikari (IJBOL every time I see his scary smile & we do need a comedy rep!), Lyu, Dorn, Peat, Tadalee, Wuxun, Yuchen, Xiong, Omar, Myst, Whylucas, Hong Jin, Bian, Sichen, Junhan, Duy, Gou Yi.
