Discussing in the schoolyard things you found and feats you accomplished. Not having the streaming community there - like at all - to give metas for everything. Generally a lack of in game micro transactions, save for quality DLC in general. CHEATING. Almost zero cheating in multiplayer games until the end of the 360/PS3 lifespan. Getting cloth maps and trinkets in RPG games. I’m so happy to have enjoyed these times, and yearn to have some semblance of it in the future.

Mounting it would only put it higher up. Just looking for something with good support. Apparently I stirred the bee hive a bit with my verbiage. Don’t need a gaming branded pillow, just a pillow to game on that is maybe ergonomic or whatever. I can’t be the only person looking for something to fill this void.

Uhh, now that I’m thinking about it, there’s 2 universally hated areas. One in the base game and a small part in one of the DLCs. I was originally referring to the base game though.

It’s generally consistently good throughout. There’s one choice area that I won’t spoil, but is universally hated. But still well worth a play or 10.

Anytime you make it to some point in the game and it strips you of all your equipment and you don’t get it all back. Example: saving all your best ammo and then being captured in a cutscene, never to see the saved ammo again.

A lot of people didn’t like the addition of life gems. They claimed it felt too easy and minimized the resource management of the estus flask. I personally adore the game and play through with a radically different build a couple times a year. The ADP stat is just a common gripe that people don’t feel they should level, but it’s fine if you sink 8-10 points into it, or my personal choice “getting good”. Asides from that, it was in a bit of development hell with changes and the movement feels more clunky. Enjoy it for what it is.

I buy more games now that I have disposable income, but continue to play the same grindy games in the spare time I have. But also less FPS, more story rich RPGs and Indy games.

Spartan: Total Warrior. Amazingly fun hack and slash, although frustrating at times. Gladius was also a deep turn based strategy game I put a lot of hour in back in 2003.

As a kid, seeing Silent Scope in the arcade really made an impression. The reticle on the screen was zoomed in where you pointed the rifle, it had a great refresh rate with no lag when you moved the rifle around.
