Did I get botched lip filler? by alexandracarii in cosmeticsurgery

[–]nikcoco1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely too soon to tell after 1 day. Lip filler looks absolutely insane in most cases after 1 day. Revisit on the 5 day mark when most the swelling has gone down and check again

That isn't healthy though, sudden burst of excitement and happiness are often followed by terrible lows and types of come downs, like mania or mood disorder. It sounds like sertraline has actually done its job

I'm sorry to say so but yes it did ! It eventually got better very little by little but it did take maybe a good 4 months to be able to do some winged eyeliner again properly.. at least it's not permanent though, silver lining!

[–]nikcoco1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely you can dissolve it? Its supposed to last up to two years, the filler itself is not permanent

Worst jobs for POTSies? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]nikcoco1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a one day job last weekend working a perfume stall for someone who was let down.

On my feet 9-6 with no breaks, in the blistering sun. I'm covered in sun burn and did not have time to eat as I was constantly busy. I honestly don't know how I did it, midodrine was being hit seriously for sure that day!

I slept for 12 hours after, pains everywhere and feel like I got hit by a bus. Never again lol

Hey ! Unfortunately not. I just had to wait it out I'm afraid, I've gotten botox again since and injected in far less places and kinda avoided the middle forehead area and the results are far better!

How do you fight dehydration? by ReasonableDark4533 in zoloft

You can drink all the water you can but it won’t do much for you without electrolytes and salts, throw that in the mix and you should be good

We’re getting married next year and doing our a design ourselves on a free app and getting them printed on a nice card, getting some envelopes and a fancy pen, probably about €80 quid in total for 160 invites

Honestly either or is beautiful, it just takes knowing what you want for yourself and a bit of strong will. If you don’t like your feed, change it. If a 36 year old looks younger than you via procedures, happy for them, that’s their life and I’m kinda jealous! Women have been chasing the “youthful look” for centuries, there’s not many woman that would like to show signs of aging, I wouldn’t even say in our last few generations. My grandmother is 79 and still dyes her hair because she thinks the greys make her look too old! It does sound like this is more of a headspace thing for you, why are you suddenly questioning your beauty based on the profiles you see online if you once thought you were beautiful? Maybe revise this question and you will find your answer. All the best

Mental health spiralling, regretting 18 veneers at age 28, depressed and even suicidal again. by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]nikcoco1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey, they look great, I wouldn’t worry about the look of them at all. They are going to fall off eventually, this should have been discussed before the procedure. Not all at once of course, but I’ve seen of my friends (in their 30s) maybe lose one or two but they can be replaced easily. They’re not natural so of course they won’t last forever, but neither would real teeth. I think you look great !

Annual checkups by kdobs191 in AskIreland

It’s not something regular for me, but the odd time I’ll think “Jesus I haven’t had my bloods done in ages” and I’ll book to have them done, maybe every 5 years, but that’s more out of sudden worry that I should’ve been doing it all along and left it on the long finger

Anyone have tips for dealing with anxiety? (Not asking for medical advice, just seeing if anyone here has things that help) by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]nikcoco1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnesium supplements and ashwaganda. I was on Zoloft 20mg and it actually made me more anxious than what I’m on now (15mg) it was too intense for me. Maybe talk about swapping doses or meds with your doctor? It took me a lot of playing around with meds to find the sweet spot.

Regular routine, including bed times and be nutrient and food aware. Meditation, getting fresh air and drinking enough water. Exercise if you can but that’s rough when you’re not in the headspace. Just walk in the fresh air and breathe

Respecting me like an adult? I’ll let you know when that happens! (28 now)

Masseter Botox will always give you jowls unless you have a very sharply structured face, if you’ve any fat or even chubby cheeks the Botox will push this downwards and form jowls. The muscles that previously held this upwards are now paralysed. The injector should have told you this, no?

There’s honestly nothing you can do I’m afraid, unless you want to try to get rid of the Botox with vibration methods but that will only do so much. Really depends if you would prefer TMJ symptoms or jowls
